PAINTING IN FLORENCE - CREATIVE PAINTING - DRAWING AND WATERCOLOUR COURSE FOR BEGINNERS

COOKING ACTIVITIES - Cooking in Tuscany with your private cook teacher                                                      

You will be taught the art of interpreting Italian recipes and the techniques used to prepare the ingredients for cooking.  

You will visit the local shop or the weekly outdoor market to identify and select the appropriate ingredients you will later prepare.   

You will learn to prepare a complete meal using a variation of recipes, changing the savours and ingredients.

Each host family will follow its own personal traditions, which will however be based on local Tuscan and other regional recipes.

The itineraries may be changed due to weather conditions, or following the specific request of the guest, but within the excursion times and distances as set out in each individual family program.

The artistic and literary heritage of Tuscany is an exaltation of the Genius Loci.

Tuscany gave birth to what seems an interminable stream of inspired creativity from the early days of the spontaneous shepherd boy, Giotto, who gave art a human dimension, to the masters and masterpieces called Brunelleschi, Donatello, Botticelli.
The explorer Amerigo Vespucci gave his name to America, in 1524 Giovanni da Verrazzano was the first European to enter what is now New York bay. Galileo Galilei altered the course of astronomy and nearly one thousand years ago Guido Aretino had already invented the music scale.
